Pat Cantelme has a career that includes over thirty years of service with the Phoenix Fire Department, retiring as a Captain in 1999. For twenty years Pat was President of the United Phoenix Fire Fighters Association. He began his involvement with the emergency transportation business as co-chair of the Operations Committee for Phoenix’s Fire Department. Pat helped design and re-design all aspects of Phoenix 911 ambulance service. Pat joined with Bob Ramsey, Sharon Henry and John Wilson in 2000 to start MedicWest, which was formally known as Southwest Ambulance-Las Vegas. MedicWest grew from a start up operation to a high performance ambulance company transporting more than 60,000 patients per year.
